I built this because I wanted a useful daily number, not another spreadsheet to maintain. The program logged into RIT TigerSpend, saved new purchases, and messaged me through Telegram whenever it found one. It also divided my remaining Dining Dollars by the time left in the semester so I always knew what I could spend that day and week.
A budget that adjusted itself
The daily and weekly limits were recalculated from the latest balance and the number of days left. When I spent less than the allowance, the leftover money stayed in the total and raised the amount available later in the semester.
How it worked
The scraper opened TigerSpend, waited for me to approve the Duo login, selected the Dining Dollars account, and parsed its transaction table. New entries were stored in JSON and sent to a Telegram bot, which also supported commands for refreshing purchases and checking the current budget.
